Our Admission Process

• Grace Academy is a private Christian homeschool tutorial program, which means the leaders, tutors, and staff hold to our Statement of Faith, and the entire program (including instruction, curriculum selection, discipline, etc.) operates on that foundation.
• While parents and students are not obligated to hold to all of the doctrines in our statement of faith, all parents must acknowledge and affirm, without reservation, that their children will be taught these doctrines while enrolled in Grace Academy.
• All students are expected to have demonstrated commensurate academic progress and satisfactory classroom behavior. 

An online application form must be completed and submitted for each student, along with a non-refundable application fee of $200 per family. ​The application form is intended to gather contact information for the family, the names and important information on all students applying for enrollment, and information regarding the family's church involvement and philosophy of education and parenting. We also ask families to affirm our doctrinal statement, and parental responsibility for at-home instruction. 

The family interview is an opportunity for Grace Academy staff to get to know students and parents better, as well as review program expectations and sponsorship information.  The interview takes approximately 60 minutes, and takes place after review of your application. 

Both parents, as well as all applying students, should attend the interview, and parents should be prepared to discuss student's academic history, as well as parents' educational background and experience with homeschooling.  

Incoming students will be assessed regarding grade placement and academic progress. Specifics of the assessment process vary by grade, and families will be contacted to schedule a student assessment following the family interview.

Following a review of all application materials, families will be notified of an admissions decision. 

PLEASE NOTE: While Grace Academy is a warm and welcoming place, being a private Christion tutorial program means that we must reserve the right to decline to admit any student or family for any reason.

Once admitted, parents of the enrolled student will be invited to register their student(s) for specific classes.  Once this registration form is received, students will be added to the classes (if available), and billing statement will be provided.  Additionally, parents will receive additional documents on policies and procedures, expectations, and important details for the academic year, as well as any additional forms to be completed. 

Following payment of the initial application fee, families will be responsible for remitting tuition payments according to their elected payment plan.
